Description

Large tree, 40 m high; trunk about 1 m diam; bark red brown; wood dark brown; corolla white; calyx pale green; immature fruit pale green, large sepal pinkish; only very few flowers on one tree only; leaves coriaceous, shining, especially above, midrib pale both sides.
