Shrubby tree, about 4 m. high. Leaves simple, coriaceous, dark green and slightly glossy above, beneath dull, pale green with large green glands along the midrid and on leaf top. Inflorescence first pointing downwards but curved upwards. Flowers (male only) white when flowering, except for slightly pinkish hypanthium, 3 lower petals with a pink stripe at the base. Staminal tube pinkish at the base. Spirit material at WAG. Wood-sample at WAG. DNA-sample made.
