Monoecious canopy tree 7 m X 20 cm. Rami- and cauliflorous. Male flowers 4-(5-)fid, white inside, lobes reflexing, with fermenting-fruity odor. Buds ans females green outside, light green stigmas. Inflorescence mixed, females flowering first. Ripe fruits reddish-browm, outside, splitting, drupes red-orange pulp pale orange. Locally codominant. Seedling leaves dentate
