Whorls of branches at regular intervals up the trunk. Leaves petiolate, opposide, subdecussate, 1.6-2.2 cm x 8-12 cm, wider at base of branches, glabrous, darker adaxially than abaxially, slightly infested with a mildew like fungus in places, and exuding resin at cut surfaces. Tree 10m tall
Collected from the lower branches of a 10m high tree growing at edge of forest by a stream, by a trackside
