Tree to 10 m, with copiose yellow latex, lvs clustered at end of branches, brittle; buds yellow, calyx green, corolla caducous, creamy-white, brownish pink in center of petals, yellowish-green toward margin, stamens tan, ovary lt greenish-yellow; fragance moderate, of a fermented nature
common at the edge of forest, along savannah
