Description

Tree 20 m tall with white latex, the branches red in cross-section. Leaves glossy dark green above, lighter below, with dense rusty indument on the petiole and venation below. Pedicel, calyx rusty orange-red; petal white. Style/stigma green, exerted before flowers open, i.e. possibly protogynous
