Tree, 10 m high ; trunk 20 cm diam., terete ; bark smooth, pale grey - brown, outer very thin, dark on section, inner 1.5 mm thick, pale brown on section; wood very pale brown, leaves thickly coriaceous, slightly shining both sides, dark green, much paler beneath, immature fruit medium brown, ellipsoid; style at least 4 mm long, glabrous ; petiole dark green, midrib pale beneath like whole leaf; crown 3 x 4 mm, compact. Frequent. Wood sample and spirit coll. in Wag.
