Small tree 10 m high; trunk terete 22 cm diam., without buttresses , crown compact ; bark thin, smooth, dark brown, leaves thikly coriaceous, slightly shining both sides, much paler beneath ; calyx pale green ; corolla and style white ; flowers sweet - scented ; leaves not bitter ; wood sample and spirit coll. of flowers. in WAG.
