Tree 8-10m, 17 cm Ø DBH; leaves > 50cm, green; indumentum very soft and transparent on very young parts (buds, below midrib, petioles, shoots); old fruiting pedicels on trunk; flower buds, vegetative buds and old fruits forming a unliateral line along the bole; lot of seeds and seedlings at the feet of the tree; bark with a thin outer layer naturally peeling off letting show a grey-pink layer
