Description

Tree 6m tall, 15 cm Ø DBH; flowers on bole and branches; flower bud grey-brown; flower pedicel with 4 bracts; sepals grey-brown; 3 outer petals creamy with dark red (bordeaux) stripe at base; 3 inner petals creamy outside, bordeaux inside; 10-15 carpels; midrib not hollow; c. 10-20 individuals in a c. 200m Ø area.

Closed evergreen forest on coral rag, Scorodophloeus fischeri dominated
