Anoplophrya simplex Cell staining was made with the ammoniacal pyridinated silver carbonate technique of Fernandez-Galiano (1994). The nuclear apparatus have been colored using 4’, 6-Diamidino-2-Phenyl Indole (DAPI) and cells were counterstained by immunofluorescence labeling with a FITC–conjugated anti-tubulin antibody before observation under an epifluorescence microscope.
